Hosting Safeguarding Training

If you are interested in booking either a Level 2 or Level 3 Excellence in Safeguarding training session at your church, please complete the form below. You will need to have a room capable of sitting 30 people in lecture style with the capability to project a PowerPoint presentation that can be seen clearly by all attendees. If you would like to host both a Level 2 and 3 session in one day there will also need to be somewhere for attendees to eat lunch and make drinks.

Conditions of booking to host a Safeguarding training session:

  • All bookings to host a training session must be made through the Administrator, Steph Tidy (there is a booking form below).
  • The host church will be asked to indicate how many spaces they wish to reserve at the time of booking (this is to allow us to know how many spaces can be opened up to other churches, if any)
  • Once the Administrator has agreed the booking with both the trainer and the host church, the host church will invoiced a £50, non-refundable deposit Please note, the training event is not confirmed until the deposit has been received by SEBA. The host church will be invoiced for the balance of the money after the training has taken place, unless they book the whole session; in which case they will be invoiced for the full payment at the time their booking is confirmed, rather than being asked to just pay a deposit.
  • The names of the delegates attending from the host church should be confirmed in writing at least two weeks before the training session. Please notify us of any last-minute updates to the delegates list prior to the event.
  • Training certificates will be sent out after the event and once payment, in-full, has been received.

Please note, this form is to request being a host church for Safeguarding training - not for booking on a training day! To book yourself and/or others into a training day, click here.
