Pioneers Group
In SEBA we are committed to encouraging mission across the Southeast.
We have a number who are involved in pioneering new ways of reaching out to their communities, some of which have, or will, lead to new churches being planted. SEBA has a ‘pioneers’ group’ which is led by Penny Marsh and aims to bring together those who are ministering in pioneering contexts.
The group meets 3 – 4 times a year over lunch. These gatherings provide an opportunity for sharing both encouragements and struggles. We offer support by praying for one another and sharing helpful advice. On occasions these gatherings include input from another leader with pioneering experience. We are also able to offer one to one mentoring, this could be for those starting out fresh, or those in existing contexts where some extra input would be helpful.
Currently this group draws people from at least 14 pioneering contexts across the Association.
