Pam Kerley
Pam and her twin brother were born in Essex but moved several times till as teenagers they moved and grew up in Wandsworth, London. Their Father was a Baptist Minister working with the Billy Graham Team as well as Pastoring several churches. Pam became a Christian as a child but wasn’t baptized by her father till 1983 when they toured the Holy Land and he baptized her in the River Jordan.
When Pam left school, she worked for several years at the RSPCA Animal Hospital in Putney (taking home many of her neglected patients to rear and rehome!) before taking a job in St James NHS Hospital X-ray department in Balham, SW London. Pam married Paul in 1985 and became a ‘minister’s wife’ which involved, among many other things, leading the church youth work, young Mum’s groups, house groups, and Bible Studies.
Over the years Pam also worked part-time for Boots the Chemist, and as an Estate Agent and Valuer and until recently for 7 years as an HCA and Phlebotomist in the Outpatients Department of a private hospital near Tenterden, Kent.
Pam and Paul have 2 grown up children. Sarah, who is a graphic designer in London and Dave who is a carbon fibre laminator for a company making panels etc for Formula One racing cars. Pam and Paul have two wonderful grandsons who they see as often as they can.
Pam joined SEBA part time in 2010 as Paul’s PA and has since taken on being SEBA’s Events Co-Ordinator and Training Co-Ordinator.
Outside of SEBA Pam works as a volunteer for two German Shepherd Dog Charities. She fosters and trains dogs given up for re-homing and does home checks for prospective owners. Pam also loves gardening and creating colourful gardens and together Pam and Paul love walking along the beach near their home and travelling abroad!
