Revd Peter Butchers
Peter Butchers has been serving churches since 1990. He currently serves Crawley Baptist Church and has served churches and communities in Wiltshire, on the South Downs, and among the urban poor in South America. Peter has previously been involved with Steyning Downland Scheme conservation project, served as a chaplain to a large secondary school, and as Chaplain to Wiltshire Fire Brigade. He has led a Spanish-speaking congregation in West Sussex, taken short term teams to Cuba and overseen countless missional projects.
He is married to Vicki. They have four grown up children, two grandchildren and Ralph the dog. Peter is a self-declared coffee geek and is fascinated by the intersection of theology and technoculture. He loves eating out, football, live music and traveling adventures in his trusty camper, Tig.
