Health & Safety policies

Health and safetyA written health and safety policy usually sets out the general approach to and commitment for managing health and safety at a church.

Where you are an employer having five or more employees, you will need one.  If you have fewer than five, you can just provide basic health and safety information to them.  If you have no employees at all, you are not required to prepare a policy.  However, you may still want to show how health and safety is managed at your church or the safety checks that have been made.
